Actually, it is quite an easy access for reaching this beautiful island, starting from above the sky, to the bottom of the sea. Indeed, the easiest one is to catch it by plane. Especially if you live abroad, a plane always becomes the best choice of all. As the rapid growth of airlines industrial, promos are in all over the places. Furthermore, if you are coming from local areas like other provinces in Indonesia, the airlines fare could be much cheaper nowadays. The tip is the more advance you book the ticket, the much cheaper it will be. Book it at least two months before.
Another way is through the roadways like bus, or a ferryboat. It might be a perfect choice for those who live in the nearby islands, as it is indeed much cheaper than having a flight there.
2. When to go
Different from other countries that experience four seasons, for the island that belongs to the tropical two seasons’ country, there is no the best or the worst time, all year are the best. It is because Bali offers you many varieties of places and tourism activities in all year. It is during the hot season, you can explore and enjoy all the outdoor activities and especially its Goddess beaches, while in rainy season, museums and art centers will be the best places to go.
So, if you target for the beaches, then try the months where rains level are minimum, like on April to September. The highest peak is at around June to August and November to January, on which that is the time of most school holidays in Indonesia. At this period, not just, you will meet so much higher prices everywhere, but also the crowds here and there are just massive. So, be prepared to meet such conditions if you have no choices but to travel there at such period.
3. Where to stay
Well, before you decide of where to stay, decide first, in what areas you want to visit. This is quite important, as Bali is quite a big island that sometimes, we cannot explore all in short times. Commonly, for the very first time tourist, the most destination place is around the South areas where it is actually the most favorite places of most tourists. The South areas are including the famous spot of Kuta area.
As the spotlight areas, finding places to say is just a piece of cake. The low budget inns rate are in average of Rp.100.000,- up to Rp.300.000,- per night, like the inns in the area of Gang Poppies, Three Brothers Street, Tuban Street and stuffs. Just try to take some walks into some small alleys around then you will find some small cheap hotels that offer the prices even lower than Rp.100.000 per night.

Public transportations in Bali are quite common things here, like taxi or a bus named Trans Sarbagita that connects the areas around. If you are not sure to have public transportations as they have only certain routes and schedules, you can rent a car or a motorcycle with the range of rent price start from Rp.200.000,-. But renting a car in Bali is for 10 hours only, if you use it more than the limit hours, there will be an additional charge.
